For most adults, driving a car means independence. Changes in physical functioning and cognition may make driving unsafe, and gradual changes may be imperceptible to the aging driver. This program provides a roadmap to help families address the issue with tact, compassion, and empathy, so that the older driver’s dignity and independence are never unnecessarily jeopardized.
