Dr. Odessa Hoinkis, MD, CMD is a physician, entrepreneur, and advocate dedicated to reimagining how healthcare reaches older adults. As founder of Bergen Geriatric Care, she leads a vibrant and energetic team devoted to delivering compassionate, personalized medical care directly to patients in their homes and assisted living communities—honoring dignity, independence, and connection in every visit. Through her second venture, Ready to Round, Dr. Hoinkis connects medical practices and businesses with virtual assistants from her birth country, the Philippines—creating fair, meaningful job opportunities while helping busy professionals to refocus their time and energy on what matters most to them. An Assistant Professor at Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine, she mentors future clinicians in geriatric and primary care and is honored to now serve within the HCCI House Call Advisor Network, advancing national efforts to expand high-quality home-based care. Driven by compassion and purpose, Dr. Hoinkis strives to help each patient achieve the best possible quality of life—delivering care where it matters most: at home.
