Support healthy aging with the powerful combination of proper nutrition and purposeful movement. This engaging, in-person program will explore how balanced eating and regular physical activity work together to promote strength, independence, cognitive health, and overall well-being in older adults.
Participants will learn how nutritional needs change with age, how health conditions and medications can impact appetite and swallowing, and practical strategies for addressing common challenges. We’ll also highlight the essential role of movement in maintaining physical, emotional, and brain health — including simple, effective exercises that can be practiced at any stage of aging.
Attendees will leave with practical tools, local resources, and actionable strategies to help older adults thrive, stay active, and enjoy a higher quality of life.
