Technology to Keep Parents Safe and Engaged
In the past decade, there have been significant advances in technology to help older adults stay safe and engaged with their families and community. Technology has become more commonplace, user-friendly, and reasonably priced, and emerging global health crises have brought a host of new understandings, applications, and opportunities, especially for the aging population. Biomedical devices, home automation, wearable devices, tablets and smartphones, and assistive technology all provide a new and ever-changing world that continues to offer opportunities and challenges relative to an older population and their support. This program will offer participants information about the variety of current and cutting-edge technology designed to ensure the safety and engagement of older loved ones and peace of mind for their families. Program Presenter: Eric Levitan, CEO and Founder of Vivo and member of Atlanta AgeTech
